GA-ZPSY Portable phosphate water quality analyzer
NAME:GA-ZPSY Portable phosphate water quality analyzer
MOdel:GA-ZPSY
BRAND:Guanao
  •    GA-ZPSY Portable phosphate water quality analyzer is a single fixed wavelength spectrophotometer, which adopt the principle of spectrophotometry to measure the parameters. In the instrument, the linear curves of the concentration of different parameters and the absorbance were established, and the concentration of the water samples was obtained through the identification of the color.

GA-ZPSY Portable phosphate water quality analyzer can be used to test the parameters phosphate of drinking water, andwidely used in the field of urban water supply, food and beverage, environmental, medical, chemical, pharmaceuticalother water quality site rapid testing or laboratory standards detection.

    What is phosphate

Phosphate is a chemical substance containing phosphorus. Every year, a lot of phosphate enters the environment through agricultural production, waste water and factory waste. Generally, phosphate exists in three forms: orthophosphate, metaphosphate (or polyphosphate) and organically bound phosphate. Each compound contains phosphorus in a different chemical arrangement. Phosphorus in water can be in the form of organic and inorganic phosphates, both of which can be dissolved in water or suspended (attached to particles in the water column). If the phosphate in water is too high, it will lead to algae overgrowth, uncontrolled growth and imbalance in the water ecosystem, which will affect the water quality and produce harmful toxins.

What are the effects of excessive phosphate in water

Generally, the content of phosphorus in surface water is about 0.02%. Excessive phosphate will make the water turbid and reduce the oxygen content in water. Although phosphate is needed for plant growth, the introduction of other phosphates into the water will lead to the      proliferation of algae. Excessive algae will make the water turbid and cause water bloom, thus reducing the sunlight available to other plants. When algae die, the bacteria that decompose them will consume dissolved oxygen in the water, thus depriving other organisms of their lives.

    The method of detecting phosphate

    1. Use phosphate test kit
Purchase the phosphate test kit from the corresponding water quality testing company, fill the sample cup or test tube with test water. If there is only one kit, place the tube in the color comparator box and add the reagent to the water sample. After waiting for a certain period of time, compare the water color with the chart attached in the kit to get the phosphate value. This method has the advantages of simple operation and low detection cost. However, this method is easy to be interfered with and its accuracy is poor.
    2. Use phosphate water quality detector
Pour the water sample into the cuvette until the mark on the top is marked. Wipe the cuvette with a microfiber cloth to remove grease or fingerprints. Put the test tube into the water quality detector, calibrate it, and add the reagent attached to the water quality detector for determination. The advantages of this method are high precision and strong anti-interference ability.
